There any things we found really interesting inside Jordan's cave. Our number one favorite item if had to pick was Jordan's Namco Arcade Stick (see below images #15 & #16). The reason behind was because we're currently having fun with many shmups games, especially the retro ones. Additionally, there's a tutorial on how to upgrade that Namco stick to be compatible for Nintendo Switch & PC. Our second favorite thing was Jordan's sofa (see image #22 below). Stunningly comfortable, and we were quite surprised that the sofa was made locally. Too good.
"I always decorate my mancave according to my personal interest-not driven by references or other people; and also to pay attentions to the function"
-Jordan Marzuki (translated)
In conclusion, after spending few hours at Jordan's place, we learnt that there were several important things/thoughts that were essential to turn his mancave into a great one. You will need to have a comfortable spot where you can just sit and chat for hours, like Jordan's gaming spot, underneath his bed. The second one, we need to have a lot things to keep yourself entertained, i.e. games and books. The third one, you will need a sense of good lighting. Not only natural lights during the day, but also additionals lightings to keep the room warm and cozy at night. Lastly, it is extremely important to keep your mancave tidy, so you will always know where to find stuff.
"Detlef Schrempf" is a media that covers the world of geeks, gamers, and extreme collectors (or should we call hoarders). It started as an individual project, and it slowly became something that we truly believe can make an impact in this untouched subject. We aim to publish articles that will be curated & designed to match the content.
Special thanks to Rifti Gita Sulistiyo & Fandy Susanto for the one-of-a-kind design for this Jordan Marzuki's edition, the entire Table Six & Capital Six family, and Jordan Marzuki for the continuous supports.
